After a very busy December, we’re starting the New Year like we mean to go on……….looking for ways to help you watch the pennies – and pounds – whilst still enjoying a wee meal out with us!

If you’re feeling the excesses of the festive season, look out for our Olive Branch Healthier Options. Available from Sunday 6 January, we’ll be picking out the dishes that are lower in fat and carbs and highlighting them with ‘H.O.’, helping you make better choices in the New Year!

For those of you watching the pounds of a different kind, we’re introducing BYOB at the OB. Available on Sundays and Mondays and beginning Sunday 13 January, you can bring your own bottle for only £2 corkage for wine, 50p for beer and £5 for sparkling wine.*

Our set menu is also available Sunday to Wednesday featuring OB favourites for just £12.95 for 2 courses or £15.95 for 3 courses.

As from Sunday 14 October, we’re introducing a set menu featuring OB classics and seasonal favourites from £12.95 for two courses or three courses for just £15.95.

Our set menu is available Sunday 5pm-10pm and Monday-Wednesday 12noon-7pm. It is not available in conjunction with any other offer.

New Era at the Olive Branch

The Olive Branch Bistro is under new ownership. The restaurant, which opened in 2003, was taken over at the end of 2011 by a local family.

David and Marion Young, along with their son Adam who is a chef, acquired the business in November of last year. Adam said: “The Olive Branch Bistro has been well loved for many years and we’re delighted to be able to continue its success. Our focus is on offering good quality, locally sourced food in a friendly and relaxed environment. The Olive Branch is well known for being a neighbourhood favourite and we want to build on that. We have an extremely hard-working and experienced team – many who have worked here for several years – which has helped us get off to a great start. We’re very excited about what the future holds for the Olive Branch.”

Since taking over the business, the family has begun refurbishment of the bistro and kitchen, as well as working with the current chefs to enhance the menus, focussing on established favourites and seasonal ingredients and offering imaginative specials.
